Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions for Online Courses

1. Scope and Contractual Parties
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for the purchase of digital online courses concluded between
Anna Katharina Thielemeyer, Wilmsstr. 68, 46049 Oberhausen, Germany
(hereinafter "Seller") and consumers (hereinafter "Customer") via the website annashuffle.com.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession.

2. Subject Matter and Use of Online Courses
The Customer receives time-limited access to digital content (online courses) via the course platform annashuffle.com.
The content is exclusively available online; downloading is – unless expressly permitted – not provided.
The Customer receives a simple, non-transferable right of use for five (5) years from activation, exclusively for private purposes.
Sharing login credentials, sharing or publishing course content is prohibited.

3. Conclusion of Contract and Provision
The presentation of courses on the website does not constitute a binding offer.
By completing the payment process, the Customer submits a binding offer.
The contract is concluded upon the Seller's order confirmation by email.
Access to the online course is generally activated immediately after payment; the Customer receives the necessary login information by email.

4. Prices and Payment
The prices stated at the time of ordering apply, including statutory value-added tax.
Payment is made via the respective payment provider used; their terms and conditions apply supplementarily.

5. Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from conclusion of the contract.
The right of withdrawal expires if the Customer

  • expressly consents to the performance of the contract beginning before the expiry of the withdrawal period, and

  • confirms that they lose their right of withdrawal by the commencement of performance.
The corresponding consent is obtained during the ordering process.
Otherwise, the separate withdrawal notice applies.

6. Liability
Participation in online courses is at the Customer's own responsibility. The Customer independently assesses their health condition and seeks medical advice if necessary.
The Seller is liable for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health in accordance with statutory provisions.
Otherwise, the Seller is only liable for intent and gross negligence as well as for breach of essential contractual obligations; in the latter case, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damage.

7. Copyright
All content provided (e.g., videos, audios, texts, PDFs) is protected by copyright.
Any use beyond private use – in particular reproduction, distribution, or public reproduction – is prohibited without the Seller's written consent.

8. Data Protection
Personal data is processed exclusively for the performance of the contract.
Details are provided in the privacy policy available at annashuffle.com.
Data may be passed on to involved service providers (e.g., payment providers, hosting providers, course platform) insofar as this is necessary for contract performance.

9. Final Provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the Customer has their habitual residence remain unaffected.
Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected; the statutory provision replaces the invalid provision.
